’paras junnusuunnistaja 2008’ –äänestys.
Myös meidän Venla on ehdolla ja esittelyissä mukana.

Hello Venla and Congratulations to receiving Jörgen Mårtensson´s international orienteering award 2008. The awaed is SEK 7 000.

My name is Marianne Söderberg, chair of "Skogssportens Gynnare", a Swedish non-profit organization aiming at supporting and promoting the development and the extension of the orienteering sport. This is made possible by assembling money, pricipally by member fees, but also by gifts and donations, then given as awards to individuals and clubs. As per agreement with Jörgen Mårtensson "Skogssportens Gynnare" is administrating means making it possible to the yearly distribution of awards to four persons, as many girls as boys. The board of "Skogssportens Gynnare" has been entrusted by Jörgen to choose the holders of the awards, together with persons appointed by him. The last year they are Katarina Borg, Sweden, and Egil Johansen, Norway.
The other award holders for 2008 are, Jenny Lönnkvist, Sweden, Johan Runesson, Sweden and Sören Bobach, Denmark.
